Maltese Skull with Cross, Helmet, and Colorful Background
The Maltese cross means lots of things depending on where you live in the world. Most commonly the cross is associated with its 8 corners. Each corner stands for a certain characteristic in most uses which have changed depending who is using them over the years. These characteristics originally began as aspirations of the knights which were: live in truth, have faith, repent one’s sins, give proof of humility, love justice, be merciful, be sincere and whole hearted, and endure persecution. These are obviously noble qualities. In the US the Maltese is most commonly associated with Motorcycle clubs and can be seen as a patch on many many jackets.
